SMS operate from a modern fully equipped and heated workshop covering in excess of 12,000 square feet. They are able to move vessels up to 40 tons in weight using either their Wise Boat Lift or the custom built boat mover. Their qualified staff of Engineers, Shipwrights and GRP specialists are able to accommodate most requests for your boat. These services include the following;
- Osmosis treatment – Using the latest Hot Vac technology. An approved Hemple Paint Centre.
- Bow Thrusters – make mooring simple by installing the latest model.
- Antifouling – provide protection for the whole season
- Joinery/Teak Decks/ shipwright work – let our experts solve the problem
- Fibre Glass, GRP and gelcoat repairs – Small repairs to major disasters – we can sort them out for you.
- Engine and generator repairs or winterisations to full servicing.
- Propellers, rope cutters, stern gear, prop shafts, anodes, heaters, water systems – we are happy to repair, replace or upgrade.
- Spray Painting – we are an approved AWLGRIP spray centre
- Rigging – from standard rigging for cruisers to fine tuning race yachts we are able to provide the expertise and service required
- Installation of high tech navigation and electronic equipment
